We are pleased to announce that effective August 31, 2016 J.D. Barnes Limited has acquired OnSite Locates Inc. OnSite Locates Inc. provides underground utility locating and mapping services to surveyors, engineers, contractors, utility companies, etc. Currently they have field technicians located in Barrie, Brampton, Burlington, London, Markham, Newmarket, Ottawa, Toronto and Whitby. From these locations they provide services across all of Ontario.
Grant Piraine, who was the founder and president of OnSite Locates Inc. has joined us as Manager of this new division. Grant built one of the most respected utility locating firms in the industry over the past decade and will now provide his expertise and guidance within JD Barnes Limited leading the ongoing growth of this team.
