J.D. Barnes Limited is pleased to announce the acquisition of West and Ruuska Ltd., a well-established land surveying firm based in Brantford, Ontario. Effective November 13, 2024, West and Ruuska Ltd. will now operate as part of MacAulay, White & Muir Ltd., a subsidiary of J.D. Barnes Limited.

Founded in 1977, West and Ruuska Ltd. has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable land surveying services throughout Southwestern Ontario. The integration of their experienced team, led by Ontario Land Surveyor Jim Johnson, further enhances our ability to serve clients in the region and strengthens our presence in this growing market.

We are pleased to announce that effective March 29, 2023 J.D. Barnes Limited has acquired the professional land surveying practice of MacAulay White & Muir Ltd. located in Brantford.

MacAulay White & Muir Ltd. is a professional services firm providing OLS & CLS expertise in legal, construction and engineering surveys. The firm offers comprehensive consulting services to clients primarily throughout Southwestern Ontario.

J.D. Barnes Limited and its subsidiaries offer Surveying, Mapping and GIS to a complete range of clients throughout Canada and the US.
