We are pleased to announce that effective June 11, 2019 J.D. Barnes Limited has acquired the professional land surveying practice of Verhaegen Land Surveyors (Verhaegen Stubberfield Hartley Brewer Bezaire Inc.) with offices located in Windsor and Leamington.
Verhaegen Stubberfield Hartley Brewer Bezaire Inc. was created in May 1987 by the amalgamation of the firms of Verhaegen & Bezaire Ltd. and Stubberfield, Hartley, Brewer Ltd. Verhaegen & Bezaire Ltd. was a successor to a surveying business established in Windsor in February 1969 by Hans J. Koester, O.L.S. and John Verhaegen, O.L.S. Stubberfield, Hartley, Brewer Ltd. was established by William C. Stubberfield and Timothy D. Hartley in 1983 who along with William A. Brewer purchased the Land Surveying business of William J. Setterington in November 1985. Verhaegen Land Surveyors has an impressive history and reputation of providing land surveying services in Southwestern Ontario.
Verhaegen Land Surveyors will operate as a division of J.D. Barnes Limited. The merger of these two firms will strengthen the resources and product offerings that both firms provide to their clients and continues J.D. Barnes Limited’s plans for growth through strategic acquisitions.
